Refreshing a beloved Capitol Hill corner bar & grill by reviving the kind of authentic history that other establishments only wish they had.
After being in business for sixty years, the Deluxe had a treasure trove of history and sentimentality—previous menus, thousands of old photos, vintage illustrations done by their own staff at bar tops—but not everything had a place outside the archives. By reimagining an element from every decade, we helped The Deluxe own their heritage without feeling stodgy, and refresh their brand for the next generation of regulars.
